About this Mod
A utility mod for modpack developers who wants to keep their users safe and warn people about the usage of Essential and their Privacy Policy.

But you might ask, why would you care about their privacy policy if already everyone taking our data nowadays?
Maybe because a random Minecraft mod doesn't have to know where you live and stuff.
Here is their privacy policy (Updated as of 1.08.2025):
- Your Account (as defined in the Privacy Policy) information, email address, and Minecraft UUID (as defined in the Privacy Policy);
- Usage times and dates, time zone, language, screen resolution, and device settings;
- Items you purchased, configurations made to these items, Minecraft version, Mod (as defined in the Privacy Policy) loader version, and concurrent Mods;
- Your browser type, operating system, IP address, referring/exit pages, unique device identifiers, and push notification token;
- Activity linked to your email or your Minecraft UUID;
- Metadata from your user content (Account name, Minecraft UUID);
- Supplementary information pertaining to you that we receive from third parties; and
- Information provided by you during customer support interactions.
- Geolocation information, such as the country, State, or territory where you are located when you access the Service (which information will be subsequently anonymized by Essential).

How to Install Essential Warning Screen on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Essential Warning Screen". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Essential Warning Screen server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Essential Warning Screen compatible with fabric?
