About this Mod
Fedora adds cosmetic hats for players and entities. It is made for the fabric mod loader and I have no plans to port it to forge. It it fully open source so anyone is welcome to do it themselves if they are want to.
Currently has 29 hats and more are added all the time. New hats are downloaded automatically without updating the mod!

If Fedora is installed on the server your playing on, you can unlock them by killing mobs that are wearing hats.

If your playing on a server and it doesn't have Fedora installed, you have full access to hats, but no one else can see them.
Custom Hats
Custom hats are simple to create and use. If a server has custom hats, they even get sent to all the players! For more info on creating custom hats check out the wiki. You can also submit your custom hat to the mod so that everyone can use it and be credited in the tooltip!

Server lagging with Fedora – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Fedora consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
