About this Mod
Celebrate the holidays from within Minecraft!
As of right now, this mod only contains features relating Christmas, but I plan to add features for other holidays in the future!
For starters, Christmas takes effect during all of December. Halloween also takes effect during all of October.
Christmas
During Christmas, the music from the Festive Mashup Pack will play. (Flake, Kyoto)
Many mobs celebrate Christmas by decorating themselves with their textures from the Festive Mashup Pack! They will also wear colored Jolly Hats.
Villagers will throw players Christmas goodies, such as Sugar Cookies and Fruitcake. Rarely, Giftboxes.
Giftboxes give you access to Giftmakers, a new profession of villager. They sell Christmas items, including a Magic Snowglobe which allows you to enable Christmas at any time.

Festivities server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Festivities compatible with fabric?
Festivities officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Festivities – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Festivities consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
