About this Mod

Candles can float in vanilla, but they can't be placed into air. That makes placing lots of magical hovering lights tedious. Oddly, this used to be a vanilla feature when candles were first added, but then it was patched out...

Want to skip the support blocks? Floating Candles lets you do that! Place candles anywhere, even on other candles!

This mod works in singleplayer and on the server side for multiplayer.

How to Install Floating Candles on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Floating Candles". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
