Floristry
A mod about bees and breeding, but not like that.
About this Mod
Floristry
Inspired by SirSengir's classic mod Forestry, this one is also a mod about bees and breeding. However, in Floristry you won't be breeding the bees themselves.
Instead, you'll be using Minecraft bees to breed magical flowers with a wide variety of mysterious effects. And that's to say nothing about the unusual honey your bees will end up making!
This mod is actively being developed; some features are unfinished, and there may be bugs!

Features
Vanilla flowers. When two vanilla flowers are close to each other and one gets pollinated by a bee, there's a chance for them to breed and spread. In some cases, they might mutate into a new flower entirely.
Special flowers. Made by breeding vanilla flowers together, they come in 4 tiers of increasingly powerful blooms. Lower tiers are merely decorative while higher tiers produce unique effects like negating fall damage, producing light, or blocking mobs.
Magic honey. When a bee retrieves honey from special flowers, using a glass bottle on the hive or nest might produce magic honey instead of the usual stuff. Honey has more potent effects than the flowers, and different flowers produce different kinds of honey.
Not all planned flowers and honey are currently implemented. For more information about the flowers and honey that currently exist in the mod, see the wiki.

Floristry server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Floristry compatible with fabric?
Floristry officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Floristry – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Floristry consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
