Friend Finder

Friend Finder is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that helps you locate your friends in the Minecraft world. The mod displays a simple directional indicator with distance information, making it easy to find and meet up with other players on your server.

Press the I key to display on your HUD! No more asking "Where are you?" in chat!

Currently only tested with 2 players

Features

• Directional Tracking: Shows the angle you need to turn to face your friend
• Distance Display: Displays horizontal distance to your friend in blocks

How It Works

Friend Finder displays a simple message above your hotbar with:

• Your friend's username
• The angle to turn to face them (in degrees)
• The horizontal distance to them (in blocks)
• The height difference when applicable (with + or - sign)

Usage

• To get back to your friend you basically just need to reduce all the numbers down to 0!
• Press I key to toggle Friend Finder display on / off
• Binding can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu under "Friend Finder"

Resource Usage

Friend Finder is designed to be extremely lightweight with minimal impact on performance. It uses simple calculations and text rendering to avoid any FPS drops or lag.
