FSG Mod
Speedrun seeds generated by an installed filter!
About this Mod
FSG Mod
This mod, intended for competitive speedrunners, lets players play seeds generated by a seed filter. (FSG = Filtered Seed Glitchless)
This mod requires atum, which should be obtained from mods.tildejustin.dev.
This mod does NOT require Fabric API.
Selecting a Filter
From the main menu, click the new wheat seeds button to get to the FSG Mod's config screen, press the "Select Filter" button, and select your filter of choice. Selecting a filter from this menu will use the online database (filteredseed.com) to get the seeds, so your machine won't have to do any filtering. You can select a different filter from the mod's config screen or deselect by pressing "uninstall".
You can also install filters locally. On the filters selection menu, press "Install Filter Locally..." and then choose a filter to download and install. From the FSG Mod's config screen, you can uninstall the filter and also configure the filter by opening the folder where it is installed.
For MC 1.15.2, only local filters can be installed.
SeedQueue Compatibility (MC 1.16.1)
FSG Mod works with SeedQueue, a mod which can generate worlds in the background. To get FSG Mod to work with SeedQueue, simply install both mods. The FSG Mod can run the filter in parallel up to SeedQueue's Max Generating Seeds (Wall) setting (or non-wall setting if bigger), although ZSG and Seedbank will limit this number to generate a maximum of one at a time and only allow SeedQueue to queue one at a time to minimze hardware advantage.
Background Filtering (MC 1.15.2)
Background filtering starts the filtering process as soon as you finish loading into a world, preparing for the next run afterwards.
You can enable background filtering with the /fsgbackground command, or the button at the bottom of the mod's config screen.
Once SeedQueue is released for MC 1.15.2 in the future, this feature will be removed and the SeedQueue compatibility will be ported.

FSG Mod server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.16.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is FSG Mod compatible with fabric?
FSG Mod officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.16.1, 1.15.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with FSG Mod – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if FSG Mod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
