Galvanized Square Steel & Eco-Friendly Wood Veneer is a very simple mod that aims for you to finally be able to expand your 0 square meter home by welding a frame from galvanized square steel, securing it in place with expansion screws borrowed from your aunt, and outsourcing eco-friendly wood veneer.

Origin

Galvanized Square Steel refers to a running gag featured in Unhinged Home Design memes in which the narrator repeatedly mentions "galvanized square steel" and "eco-friendly wood veneers" as key materials to remodel or expand small rooms. In May 2024, memes and jokes about galvanized steel and eco-friendly wood veneers were popularized on TikTok and Reddit via memes, skits and other humorous content. This mod is based off of that.

Future updates

I made this in one afternoon. It's not intended to be robust. When MCreator 1.21 support comes out, I will update to that and maybe add more features to this mod, such as an actual Aunt villages profession, more veneer types for different wood types, or a more in-depth process to make the galvanized steel.
