About this Mod

Gamma Boost (formerly Underground Ambient Lighting) is a Minecraft mod for boosting gamma in certain contexts.

This mod is completely client-side and will work on vanilla servers. The use of this mod, especially with modified config values, may be considered a cheat by some - use at your own risk.
You can include this mod in your mod pack, with credit!

Underground

Gamma Boost currently only features the functionality of its predecessor, Underground Ambient Lighting! This increases dark lighting underground visually, without affecting mob spawning.

How to Install 🔦 Gamma Boost on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "🔦 Gamma Boost". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
