About this Mod
GeneralFeedback
This mod provides a convenient GUI and an optional KJS interface for players to send feedback to developers in real time from inside the game.

Feedback is divided into global and local modes. Global feedback is intended for use by a modpack or a server and is very simple to configure.
Local feedback can be used by a single mod — they share the same HUD but do not interfere with each other.
By default, the global feedback entry points are placed in the Survival inventory, the pause menu, and the death menu; they can be hidden in the configuration file.

For regular players, just install and use the mod as usual.
For developers, customization is straightforward — please refer to the Developer Manual below.
By default this mod uses GitHub Issues as backends for collecting feedback.
Additionally, the mod supports:
- Custom triggers for opening the feedback screen (for example, opening the feedback UI when the player jumps);
- Sending extra information (requires KJS), for example sending the player’s inventory along with the feedback;
- Custom third-party API calls — if you prefer another service, you are not limited to Vika.
Because this involves players’ in-game data, all features and related extensions of this mod are fully transparent.

General Feedback server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is General Feedback compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
General Feedback officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with General Feedback – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if General Feedback consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
