A small mod that tweaks Immersive Geology's geologist pick logic.
About this Mod
Why?
This mod was created primarily for my own use in a modpack that uses Immersive Geology (IG). What made it necessary was the fact that I configured vanilla-like ore generation for ores from IG, alongside the default large deposits that IG introduces. This made the geologist pick display messages about ore deposits even though there are none, making it impossible to find real deposits.
How?
This mod tweaks the deposit scanning logic of the geologist pick to take into account the amount of each ore and only display a message for an ore that exceeds a configurable amount.
Note
- This mod uses mixins to achieve this, it is probably not the best way and is prone to cause some issues if other mods try messing with the logic too.
- This is a server-sided mod and the configuration file will be generated per-world inside the serverconfig folder.

How to Install Geologist Pick Tweaks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Geologist Pick Tweaks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
