About this Mod

Title

Glimmering Gardens is a small mod that tries to bring a little bit more life to specific biomes.

currently it only adds Fireflies and features related to them, but there are more features planned

Fireflies: These two-pixel mobs will light up the overworld nights, they can be found in Birch Forests, Swamps, Mangrove Swamps, Sunflower Plains and Meadow biomes. You can also catch up to 8 fireflies in a bottle, a full Firefly Bottle can be used to craft a Firefly Lantern. Fireflies tend to move towards nearby light sources and other fireflies.

How to Install Glimmering Gardens on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Glimmering Gardens". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
