About this Mod

Makes vanilla's falling leaf particles better by doing three things:

Spruce leaves drop needles rather than broad leaves
Birch leaves drop golden leaves instead of green leaves half the time
Pale oak leaves use the same particle as other leaf blocks (except cherry)

This is a hastily thrown together mod, and as such this is not the best possible implementation. One important issue is using /particle to create a pale oak leaf creates a spruce needle instead; this is because I tried my best to not register new particles, and used the minecraft:pale_oak_leaves particle as the spruce needle. That aside, this mod basically changes nothing. I may revisit this in the future to make a better impl, but as it stands this works!

How to Install gneiss leaves on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5-rc2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "gneiss leaves". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
