About this Mod

Let's introduce ourselves to Golams !
Golams are the hidden spirits of Geodes, made of a budding Amethyst, this creature grow constantly amethyst shard, making it able to use the amethyst growing out of it like members.
Thoses little geode buddies will help you within your world, you can spawn new Golams by right-clicking with a Golam Core on a budding amethyst.
once you'll spawn your first Golam, shift-left-click on it to take it in your inventory.
Golam professions :

- Upgrading unassigned Golams to professions Golams.
Blacksmith Golam :
- The blacksmith golam can repairs others golams using smooth basalt ! Assign it to a smooth basalt assigned Golam Interface with a Golam Core to refill its inventory ! It can also transform amethyst blocks to amethyst shards !

- Healing another Golam with basalt
(in the future it will be able to craft Golams without budding amethyst, WIP!)
Cartographer Golam :
- The cartographer golam can points to the direction of interests points on the maps given to him when right clicked with a Golam Core. If close enough the golam will stand at coordinates given on the map, revealing treasures!

- Finding treasures with Cartographer Golam !
Deliverer Golam :
- The deliverer golam can take items from empty Golams Interfaces and deliver them to item assigned Golam Interfaces ! Assign it to a Golam Interfaces with a Golam Core to start a new logistic era !

- Sorting logs and sticks with Deliverer Golam
Guard Golam :
- The guard golam can defend others Golams against hostile mobs, including you ! take care of this robust variant who's 2 times more resistant than its friends ! they will naturally follow others non guards golams when there is no menace.
- It can be assignated to another golam to follow it. Right-click on the guard with a golam core then click a non-guard golam !

- Bad zombies !
Harvester Golam :
The Harvester Golam can harvest crops and trees !
Give it a tool and assign it to saplings or crops. Once they'll grow, harvester golam will harvest the ressource and replant it !
Assignables blocks :
- When an axe is given : Vanilla Saplings (excluding Mangrove, WIP!), Red and Brown mushrooms, Crimson and Warped Fungus, Bamboo, Golam Interface (empty, #minecraft:axes).
- When a hoe is given : Vanilla crops, cacao beans, cactus, sugar cane, Golam Interface (empty, #minecraft:hoes).

How to Install Golams on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Golams". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Golams server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Golams compatible with neoforge?
Golams officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Golams – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Golams consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
