Gooder Rails

Port of the better rail placements from 2No2Name/MendedMinecarts to 1.21 in a server-side only environment.

Usage

Use /gooderrails toggle to toggle whether you want to use the feature. This toggle is on a per-player basis and does not persist across restarts (sorry).

Known Flaws

Client sees wrong rail placements for 1 tick (or more if they have higher network latency).

How to Install Gooder Rails on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Gooder Rails". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
