About this Mod
What is this datapack ?
this datapack is one of those one who upgrade the speed of happy ghast, BUT this one do it in a vanilla frendly way.
Features(for now):
- you can control the speed of your happy ghast by selecting one of the three last slot of the hotbar, the 7th is slow, 8th is moderate and the last is full speed.
- The "Snow flare" enchantment to the harness, upgrade the happy ghast's temp range for snow balls level 1 to 5
(WARNING: DUE TO A BUG IN MINECRAFT, YOU WILL NEED TO ENCHANT A BOOK FIRST IN AN ENCHANTING TABLE AND THEN THE HARNESS WITH AN ANVIL) - hunger to happy ghast
- Going minimum speed retreive hunger
- Going medium speed do nothing
- Going max speed use up hunger
plan features:
- the abilities for each happy ghast to have an individual speed stat, a little bit like horses.
- enchantments for the harness to add special abilities or stats buffer.

How to Install Happy Ghast Tweaks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Happy Ghast Tweaks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Happy Ghast Tweaks server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Happy Ghast Tweaks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Happy Ghast Tweaks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
