About this Mod

HapticHotbar adds a simple little haptic on Force Touch Mac trackpads when switching the hotbar slot. It helps the trackpad feel a little less clunky to use and a little bit more like a proper input method.

Known issue: there is no detection for if it's a trackpad input. If you're using a mouse with a Macbook or a Magic Trackpad, your trackpad will sit there happily producing haptics on your desk when you switch the selected hotbar slot with your real scroll wheel.

How to Install HapticHotbar on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "HapticHotbar". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
