About this Mod
HeartTogether
A Minecraft Forge mod (1.20.1) that binds players together to share health, absorption shields, healing, and even death—perfect for co-op challenges, PvP teams, or role-playing scenarios.
📖 Overview
HeartTogether is a lightweight, server‑side mod that allows two players to fully share their life pool. Any damage taken, absorption gained (e.g., from enchanted golden apples or potions), healing received, or status effect that affects health is instantly synchronised between bound partners. If one dies, the other also perishes – with a custom death message to inform everyone.
The mod is designed for Forge 1.20.1 (all 47.x.x sub‑versions) and is fully client‑side synced, requiring no additional mods on the client.
✨ Features
Health Sharing – Bound players share the same current and maximum health. Damage and healing are applied to both simultaneously.
Absorption (Shield) Synchronisation – Any absorption granted (e.g., from enchanted golden apples, absorption potions, or external effects) is mirrored between partners instantly.
Instant Feedback – When one bound player takes damage, both play the hurt sound and show the vanilla red‑flash/hurt animation.
Death Sync – If one bound player dies, all other bound players die too. The directly damaged player broadcasts the normal death message; additional partners show a special “martyr” message (e.g., “Alex has died for love”).
Rebind/Unbind – Players can be dynamically bound and unbound at any time via simple commands, preserving the current shared health values upon unbinding.
Multi‑player Support – Each binding pair operates independently; players can only be in one active pair at a time.
