About this Mod
Hextended Staves is an arsenal-based Hex Casting addon making use of the template created by ArtyNova, object-Object, and others. (Special Thanks to everyone on the Hex Casting Discord server for answering all my questions, you all gave me the energy to make this.)
The main feature of Hextended Staves is, as you might have guessed, more staves. Mostly, the goal of this addon is to add more options for the player to choose from to fit their style or aesthetic. It's not necessarily about making a tool that is inherently better, but you may find that some items may have a small edge to them. I do plan to add other Hexcasting-related gear with functional benefits, but I'm very new to modding, so in-depth mechanics are a tad far from my reach at the moment. The bulk of this mod is and will continue to be tools that just look nice, with not a ton of benefit. That said, I also want to make special staves or other tools that have special properties, but again, far down the road.
The staves added currently are only those that model to vanilla or Hex Casting aesthetic, but as my modding knowledge grows I will add cosmetic staves that mesh with the styles of other mods like Botania or Ars Nouveau. If you have a suggestion for a staff, ping me in the Hex Casting Discord server or leave a comment and I'll add it to the list!
