About this Mod

Hide Mob Name tags is a simple mod that changes the behaviour of mob nametags. By default, the CustomNameVisible NBT tag, when disabled, only hides the nametag of a given mob if you're not looking directly at them, as opposed to completely hiding them. This mod changes that so you'll NEVER see their name at all! (Unless they kill you or something.)

How to Install Hide Mob Nametags on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hide Mob Nametags". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
