How to configure
Configuration for this and almost every other mod I make is done through another mod called mod menu, which you can download here.
Once the mod is installed, open the Mods tab, click the 3 lines next to my mod (will only appear once you hover over it), and a menu with all the configurable settings will appear. Settings will be automatically immediately applied once you click save and exit.
If you found a bug, want any other configuration option to be added, or have a recommendation for a new mod or an update to an existing one, join the discord server in my profile.

hit counter server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is hit counter compatible with fabric?
hit counter officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with hit counter – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if hit counter consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
