Simpe mod that changes you from first to third person with a hold or toggle.
About this Mod
We all know the Perspective mod was banned, so Lunar and Badlion Client created their own 'perspective' Esque mod respectively. Without the rule breaker advantage of a 360° view with bed lock. Well, I got annoyed that there was no public version of the mod, so I made it myself. It currently just has the option to hold to snap to F5 views, I might add a toggle function if enough people use the mod and request it.

I made this mod years ago when Hypixel blacklisted the perspective mod, and Lunar Client and BadLion didn't have their 'Snaplook' type mod public, so I just made it myself...

How to Install Holdlook on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.8.9).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Holdlook". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Holdlook server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.8.9). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Holdlook compatible with forge?
Holdlook officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.8.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Holdlook – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Holdlook consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
