About this Mod

Horizontal Scrolling Fix

This client-side mod allows you to disable horizontal mouse scrolling (introduced in 1.20.2) entirely, or reverse its direction. Fixes MC-267014 and MC-308125.

Usage

By default, the mod disables horizontal scrolling. To re-enable it and reverse the horizontal scrolling direction, you may edit the config file (/.minecraft/config/horizontal-scrolling-fix.toml) or use Mod Menu to edit the config in-game.

How to Install Horizontal Scrolling Fix on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Horizontal Scrolling Fix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
