About this Mod

HorScore

A simple and efficient client-side mod that displays horse statistics while you look at them in Minecraft.
HorScore evaluates horses by their speed and jump height, giving them a score from 0 to 10. When you look at a horse (aim your crosshair at it), the mod displays:

  • HorScore: An overall color-coded rating combining speed and jump ability (0-10 scale)
  • Speed (S): The horse's movement speed in blocks per second
  • Jump (J): The horse's maximum jump height in blocks

Displayed data of a horse in-game

  1. Install the mod with Fabric Loader
  2. Look at any horse in-game
  3. Stats will appear above your crosshair automatically
  4. Press H to toggle the mod on/off (you can change this key in Controls settings)

Frequently Asked Questions

HorScore server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is HorScore compatible with fabric?

HorScore officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with HorScore – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if HorScore consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
