About this Mod

Hover Highlight

Hover Highlight changes the background tint of the slot you're hovering in inventories, and you can also have it tint the selected hotbar slot too if you want.

It is client-side and mainly just makes inventory highlighting look cleaner and easier to see. You can change both colors in the config and alpha/opacity/transparency works too so you can make it more subtle or more visible depending on what you want. I would write more about the mod but that's really all there is to it, if you have any suggestions let me know!

How to Install Hover Highlight on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hover Highlight". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
