IFPatcher Build Release

As Industrial Foregoing for 1.12.2 is EOL, this is a project to patch some known issues
with Industrial Foregoing for 1.12.2.

It will not work on any other versions.

Please use the latest
version (1.12.13-237) to use this
patch.

Features

This mod will patch some bugs or implement some features:

Insertion Conveyor Upgrade

  • Will not duplicate items when using multiple insertion upgrade on one conveyor belt.

Fluid Pump

  • Make pump work properly on any conditions.
  • Can now fill fluid to buckets directly from GUI.

Laser Base

  • Stop crashing Minecraft when using negative lens.

Potion Brewer

  • Can now brew potion that the ingredients does not start from minecraft:nether_wart. (Ex. Potion of Weakness)

Plant Sower

  • Till any blocks if possible. (You no longer have to use minecraft:dirt or minecraft:grass)

Mob Imprisonment Tool

  • Implement blacklist for mobs that can't be imprisoned.
    • Support wildcard *. (Ex. minecraft:*)
  • Add option to enable/disable of imprisoning boss mobs. (blacklistBosses)
    • Even if blacklistBosses is set to false, you can't imprison boss mobs if it is in the blacklist.

Latex Processing Unit

  • Will not eat Latex Bucket when tank is already full enough to fill.

Sludge Refiner

  • Re-implement the classic Sludge Boiler debuff behavior — applies poison and hunger to all entities within 3 blocks of an operating Sludge Refiner. Opt-in via enableDebuffs.

How to Install IFPatcher on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.12.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "IFPatcher". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Frequently Asked Questions

IFPatcher server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.12.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is IFPatcher compatible with forge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if IFPatcher consumes the most tick time.
