About this Mod

ImmichMC

A client-side mod that automatically uploads your screenshot to an Immich instance of your choice, with option for auto-assigning to a specified album.

Works on Minecraft Fabric 1.21.1/1.21.8, tested on Immich v1.134.0

Prerequisite

Immich is self-hosted software, you first need to have an Immich instance with an account that you can access.
You need to generate an API Key under your account, please visit here for instruction.

Configuring

Mod Menu is required for configuration.

Open the mod menu screen, find ImmichMC and click on the configure button.
Fill the instance API URL (Remember the url should end with /api!)
Fill in the API Key
Done! Use F2 to capture a Minecraft Screenshot, and it will automatically be uploaded to the instance!

How to Install ImmichMC on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ImmichMC". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

ImmichMC server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is ImmichMC compatible with fabric?

ImmichMC officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.8, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with ImmichMC – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ImmichMC consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
