Individual Keep Inventory
Server-side Fabric mod that makes keepInventory work on an individual basis.
About this Mod
NOTICE: This project is no longer maintained by me. Feel free to update the mod yourself though!
Individual Keep Inventory is a Fabric mod for making keepInventory work on an individual basis.
The vanilla /gamerule keepInventory command does (or should do) absolutely nothing with this mod, whether it be true or false.
To control the mod to your liking:
/ikeepinv set <username> <true/false> will change a player's individual inventory state, with the default being false.
/ikeepinv get <username> shows you a player's current inventory state.
/ikeepinv default <true/false> will change the default inventory state for new players, set to false by default.
Individual Keep Inventory is completely server-side, meaning vanilla clients should have no issue joining servers with it installed.
Individual Keep Inventory currently does not support LAN play; it only works as intended on a dedicated server.
Individual Keep Inventory was designed solely with vanilla Minecraft in mind; any mod that adds extras things to your inventory (i.e. backpack/accessory slot) is currently not accounted for. Use together at your own risk.
Please do submit any feature requests or issues to the Issues page on the left, as this is my first mod.

Individual Keep Inventory server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Individual Keep Inventory officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21, 1.20.6, 1.20.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Individual Keep Inventory – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Individual Keep Inventory consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
