InfiView
Low-quality pseudo-infinite render distance
About this Mod
This mod will show you all explored areas of your world, by rendering them when you go near them, and saving the pictures. It's not perfect quality, or even good, but it works surprisingly well.
Note that it can use quite a lot of disk space - hundreds of megabytes in my testing, probably gigabytes for larger worlds.
Consider this an alpha release. Current limitations and issues:
- It doesn't distinguish between different servers - data from one server will overwrite data from another server. (It does distinguish between different singleplayer worlds, and between singleplayer worlds and servers)
- It breaks fog in the nether - the background will be black.
- It doesn't handle night - all chunks rendered by InfiView will be fullbright.
- It can cause significant FPS drops intermittently.

InfiView server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.7.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is InfiView compatible with forge?
InfiView officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.7.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with InfiView – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if InfiView consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
