About this Mod
InvenAudio
InvenAudio is a Minecraft 1.7.10 and soon 1.12.2* mod adding realistic inventory foley sounds.
Features
InvenAudio is complete as of version 1.0.0.0, but I do have some potential future plans to improve it. Currently it features:
- Over 100 unique audio files across multiple categories of items/blocks
- Compatibility with almost all known GUI interfaces which comprises of all vanilla ones and most modded ones that inherit from
GuiContainer - Realistic sounds that aren't Minecrafty (Think Dynamic Surroundings type sfx)
- Only features pickup and place inventory sounds, no additional overwhelming sounds like one being played when a GUI opens
- Specific sfx definitions for more tech orientated mods such as
cog,gear,coil,frame
The sfx are classified under the Player category. If the sfx are too loud, you can lower it through the Player slider without needing to turn the master volume down.
Dependencies
- UniMixins 0.1.22 or higher
Planned Features
- 1.12.2 port* (Next feature to be worked on) (Higher than 1.12.2 port? Womp womp, absolutely not)
- Change sound definitions to be config based so players can define their own sounds and change existing ones without having to recompile the mod
- Add config options in general (Things like volume control for the mod or specific sfx configurations)
- More sounds

InvenAudio server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.7.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is InvenAudio compatible with forge?
InvenAudio officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.7.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with InvenAudio – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if InvenAudio consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
