Invisible Itemframes

Gives survival players access to invisible item frames.

Usage

Shift click the item frame with an item to have it become invisible.

Gamerules

The mod adds the gamerule onInvisibleItemFramePop for modifying what to do when an item is taken out of an invisible item frame. It can have 3 values:

  • Reveal (default)
    • makes the item frame visible again after taking out an item.
  • Destroy
    • breaks the item frame when an item is taken out, dropping it on the ground.
  • Nothing
    • not recommended, leaves the item frame entity there when taking out the items

How to Install Invisible Itemframes on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Invisible Itemframes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
