Features
Mark Items in Containers
- Press middle mouse button on any item to create a floating marker
- Shows item name, owner name, and container outline
- Works in any container - chests, machines, backpacks, etc.
- Also works with JEI items
Slot Highlighting
- Marked items get highlighted in all open containers
- Helps you quickly find matching items across inventories
FTB Teams Support
- Party members can see each other's marks
- Players not in a party can see marks from other solo players
- Party players and solo players cannot see each other's marks
- Without FTB Teams installed, all players see all marks

- Mark duration (1-60 seconds)
- Display range (16-256 blocks)

Important Notes
Server Installation
- This mod must be installed on both client and server for multiplayer
- JEI integration features only work on the client side
- If you see an error like
ResourceKey[minecraft:recipe_serializer / jei:jei_shaped], make sure JEI is NOT installed on the server (JEI is a client-only mod)

How to Install InvItemMark on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "InvItemMark". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

InvItemMark server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is InvItemMark compatible with forge and neoforge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if InvItemMark consumes the most tick time.
