ItemPickupNotifier
Clean pop-up notifications for every item pickup.
About this Mod
ItemPickupNotifier is a lightweight client-side mod that displays clean, minimalistic pop-up notifications whenever the player receives new items. Instead of tracking individual inventory slots or relying on server packets, the mod continuously monitors the player’s entire inventory and calculates the exact difference between the previous and current state. This makes the detection extremely reliable and fully compatible with every server.
The system updates once per tick and counts the total amount of each item inside the player’s hotbar and main inventory. If the total amount of a specific item increases, a smooth notification appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Each notification includes the item icon, item name, and the amount gained, fading out naturally after a short duration.
Manual inventory actions, such as dragging items with the mouse, shift-clicking, or rearranging stacks while a GUI is open, are completely ignored to prevent visual spam. Only “real” item gains—such as picking up drops, crafting results, loot from containers, autopickup from farms, or server-side item grants—will trigger notifications.
The mod works fully client-side, requires no server support, and has zero impact on gameplay mechanics. It simply provides clear, instant feedback when your inventory grows, no matter where the items come from.
