About this Mod

This Fabric mod adds traps to Minecraft! Currently, the mode has wooden spikes, iron spikes, and effected spikes, which besides damaging the entity, also give them the specified potion effect. More content is coming soon for more versions of the game.

How to Install James' Traps on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "James' Traps". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

James' Traps server crashes on startup – what to do?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if James' Traps consumes the most tick time.
