Target Version: This project is strictly locked to Fabric 26.1.

Version Compatibility: 26.1.2

Version Note: I am pretty sure this will work with 26.1.1, but since I never tested this mod on that version, I will not tell you it works on that version. My test environment is 26.1, and my server is 26.1.2. So proceed with caution if you are using that version.

Overview

This project is focused on the expansion of Minecraft’s monsters, adding new monsters, including more zombies, creepers, skeletons, and unique hostile creatures. This is not a content dump mod. It is a technical implementation designed to bring more life, or death, and diversity to nights. Many people complain that the game is already too easy, so I intend to bring new challenges with this mod. Also, if creepers are not traumatizing enough for you, I have evil plans brewing for the future of this mod.

Intent

This is a personal mod I have designed as a hobby to enhance the gameplay of my personal server. I decided to share it with any adults who want to play with it as well. If interested, we could try to arrange a suitable time where you can see this mod in action firsthand before downloading. This helps me to learn and encourages new ideas. The project will continue to expand over time.

Current Feature Set

• Head Drops: Every monster that was made by this mod has its own head drop. Currently, all zombies have a 2.5% chance of dropping their heads when killed.
• New Zombies: This mod offers eight new zombies that will spawn at random alongside the classic Steve zombie to add more diversity to zombie spawning. They share the same undead properties as the normal zombies and burn in sunlight, and can even spawn baby versions. They can even spawn with tools or weapons in their hands. They even drop the same loot as a normal zombie.
• Spawners Work: The new zombies will spawn from zombie spawners as well.

Dependencies: Fabric API 0.145.4+26.1.2

Compatibility: This mod uses standard c:tags for all mobs and heads to ensure compatibility with other tech and storage mods.

Maintenance: This version will receive support and updates throughout 2026.

Future Updates: Migration to version 27.1 is planned for early 2027.
