About this Mod

KeyLoop

Mod that provides spam clicking/holding a certain minecraft keybinding

Works only on client-side

Original idea and some of the source code was taken from TapeMouse as its author stopped maintaining it

How to

/keyloop list

Command, which displays all available keybindings

You can hover over keybind and click on it to suggest command

image

/keyloop <bind> <delay>

If delay equals 0 the bind will be held

Command autocomplete supports every available keybind for <bind> and ticks, seconds, day for <delay>

Note: some commands such as jump, forward, right, etc. don't support delay more than 0. I don't exactly know if it is Minecraft limitations or not, but I can't fix it for now

/keyloop off

Disables the keybind

Config

textRenderEnabled - defines if an overlay with an additional info will be rendered at top left corner

Warnings

  • As far as this mod is easily detectable, don't use it on servers where AFK farming is not allowed
  • If you run command immediately after a server connection, it won't work. Click the required key and then use a command

Frequently Asked Questions

KeyLoop server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.16.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is KeyLoop compatible with forge?

KeyLoop officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.16.5. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with KeyLoop – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if KeyLoop consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
