Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.18.0+
- Fabric API — a companion mod that provides common hooks and utilities used by most Fabric mods; required alongside the Fabric loader

Installation (Prism Launcher)
- Create or select a Minecraft 1.21.11 instance in Prism Launcher
- Click Edit Instance > Version tab > Install Fabric — select loader 0.18.0+
- Download Fabric API from Modrinth (match Minecraft version 1.21.11)
- Build or obtain
kidsurvival-1.0.0.jar(see Building from Source) - Click Edit Instance > Mods tab > Add — add both the Fabric API and Kid Survival JARs
- For dedicated servers: place both JARs in the server's
mods/folder
Usage
- Toggle kid mode:
/kid(any player can run it to toggle their own kid mode) - Feedback messages: "Kid mode enabled" / "Kid mode disabled"

Troubleshooting
- /kid command not found: Ensure the mod JAR and Fabric API are both in the
mods/folder and the server has restarted. - Kid mode didn't persist after restart: Check that the server shut down cleanly (not force-killed). State is saved during normal shutdown.
- Version mismatch errors: Ensure Fabric API version matches your Minecraft version (1.21.11).

How to Install Kid Survival on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Kid Survival". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
