About this Mod

LAN Limit Modifier

Simple mod to allow changing the max player cap on LAN servers.
Simply add -Dlanlimit.value=<your new limit> to your JVM args. Defaults to 1 more than current player count to always have space.
This mod is only required on the LAN server host, other players do not need this.

How to Install lan limit modifier on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2-snapshot-7).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "lan limit modifier". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
