About this Mod

LAN Server Options adds an Advanced options screen to Minecraft's built-in LAN flow.

It lets the LAN host configure extra integrated-server settings before opening the world:

Toggle online-mode.
Toggle whitelist flags.
Toggle PvP.
Change the LAN MOTD/server message.
Change the maximum player count from 1 to 100.
Change the idle timeout from 0 to 1440 minutes.

Only the player hosting the LAN world needs the mod. Joining players can use vanilla Minecraft.

Fabric API is not required.

Security note

Disabling online-mode turns off account verification. Use it only on trusted networks because other players can impersonate usernames.

How to Install LAN Server Options on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "LAN Server Options". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
