A simple, easy to understand, client-side mod that automatically places a block in nearby lava made to make tunneling in the Nether safer, but can have other applications.
Commands
/lavablocker enable - Enables LavaBlocker.
/lavablocker disable - Disables LavaBlocker.
/lavablocker onlyBlockSource <true|false> - If true, only source lava blocks will be removed.
/lavablocker radius <1-16> - Sets how far around the player to check for lava.
/lavablocker checkInterval <1-10> - How often (in ticks) to check for lava.
/lavablocker maxBlocksPerCheck <1-10> - Maximum number of blocks placed per check.
/lavablocker replacementBlock <block> - Sets the block type used to block lava.
/lavablocker help - Shows this list of commands.

How to Install SafeNeatherTunnel on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "SafeNeatherTunnel". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
