Lawnage is a mod that adds in lawn similar to that of the long abandoned OffLawn! mod
Lawn blocks do not turn to dirt when you place blocks on them!
You can place saplings on them if ya want even!

Regular lawn:
To craft use 1 dirt with 1 of any foliage (grass flowers leaves saplings etc)or 1 grass block!

Mushroom lawn:
Place shrooms of all types on them!
Craft able with 1 mushroom of any type (from any mod even) and 1 dirt!
also craftable with 1 mycelium

Biome dependent lawn!
Created from: 1 regular grass lawn.
Used to make 1 regular grass lawn.
Switch em back and forth.

Crimson and Warped Lawns!
Made with respective overgrown netherack counterparts
or with 1 netherack and 1 biomass item
or 8 netherack and 1 wart block (makes 8)

Currently: adds grass lawn and mycelium lawn biome color type, warped, and crimson lawns

Roadmap:

5.0 will be an update for mod support, reading the support for various mods.

How to Install Lawnage on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lawnage". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Lawnage server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Lawnage compatible with fabric?

Lawnage officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.18.1, 1.18, 21w38a. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Lawnage – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Lawnage consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
