💡 What is Leap?
The Leaping enchantment can be obtained just like any other treasure enchantment, being available as loot in chests, fishing, or from the Librarian Villager. It can only be obtained in one level. The enchantment is exclusive to boots. You can use a double jump anytime your motion is moving downward.👪 Related Mods
This mod is part of a series of movement related enchantment mods. You don't need to install these mods for Step to work, but know they were made together. However with Leap, it may not be applied to the same boots as Step. Unlike the other two mods, Frost Walker and Depth Strider work with Step.-

How to Install Leap on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Leap". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Leap server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Leap compatible with forge and neoforge?
Leap officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 1.21.8, 1.21.7. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Leap – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Leap consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
