About this Mod
Want a more diverse color pallete? This mod adds leather blocks, stairs, and slabs which can be dyed to any color you desire. Take four leather and planks of any kind to make a leather block, and you can dye it just as you would leather armor. If you want to make more leather blocks with the same color, you can clone the color onto undyed leather blocks just as you would clone a map or banner. If you have a change of heart, and a new color catches your eye, you can clean leather blocks with a water bucket and a sponge. If you want to turn a leather block into slabs or stairs, you can craft them just as you would for other blocks, only catch is that you need to use leather blocks with the same color. All these recipes are illustrated on the gallery page.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Leather Blocks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Leather Blocks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
