Legit sleep
Skip day or night in survival without using /time set or cheats.
About this Mod
Legit Sleep – Survival Friendly Time Skipping
Legit Sleep is a lightweight gameplay mod for Minecraft that allows players to skip day or night in survival without using commands or cheats. Instead of relying on /time set, the mod provides a natural and immersive way to change the time while keeping the survival experience fair and balanced.
With Legit Sleep, players can rest anywhere in the world to move time forward. This means you are no longer restricted to placing a bed in a specific location just to skip the night. Whether you are exploring, mining deep underground, traveling long distances, or building far from your base, you can still skip unwanted daylight or nighttime cycles easily.
It keeps gameplay simple while providing a convenient quality-of-life feature that many players wish existed in vanilla Minecraft. Because the system does not rely on commands or cheats, it remains fully compatible with survival gameplay.
How to Use
Using Legit Sleep is simple and does not require commands or special items.
- Find a safe place where you want to rest. You can use this feature almost anywhere in the world.
- Make sure your main hand is empty.
- Crouch (hold the sneak key) for a short moment to trigger sleep.
- Once the sleep action is detected, the game will automatically skip the current time cycle.
If it is currently daytime, the mod will advance the world time to night. If it is nighttime, the mod will advance the world time to morning. This allows players to control the time naturally while remaining in survival mode.
