About this Mod

A mod that disables the The world folder contains symbolic links warning.
The warning, in Minecraft.

Upon startup, this mod just writes [regex].* to .minecraft/allowed_symlinks.txt, which disables the warning.

Windows

Windows uses shortcuts, which are not symlinks and are not supported by Minecraft.

Removing

Removing the mod will not remove the allowed_symlinks.txt file, you have to manually delete that file after removing the mod if you would like to see the warning again for whatever reason.

How to Install LetMeSymlink on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "LetMeSymlink". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
