Lightning Prevention
Adds a blacklist for lightning strike base blocks and a whitelist for lightning fire base blocks.
Lightning Prevention requires the Fabric modloader and Fabric API.
Installation
- Install Fabric API if it is not installed.
- Download Lightning Prevention from CurseForge or GitHub.
- Place the downloaded file in your
modsfolder.
Usage
When this mod is installed, lightning will not cause fire to spawn by default.
Tags
Blocks added to the #lightningprevention:prevent_lightning_strike_base_blocks tag will not be struck by lightning.
On the other hand, blocks in the #lightningprevention:lightning_fire_base_blocks will be set on fire by lightning.

How to Install Lightning Prevention on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lightning Prevention". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
