⚡ Lightning Abilities
Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1
Adds lightning magic: mana, "Molnikes" currency, skill tree, flight, dash, shield, and glowing lightning bolts on your skin.
🌐 Note: The mod interface supports only English and Russian languages.

💡 Press V first – abilities don't work without active lightning.
🔰 Progression
- Mana regenerates over time (faster in rain and thunderstorms). Getting struck by lightning fully replenishes your mana.
- Molnikes – currency. Drops from mobs (especially charged creepers) and during thunderstorms. Spent in the skill tree (B).
- In creative mode, mana is infinite.

⚙️ Config
File config/lightningabilities-common.toml – all balance settings (mana regeneration, ability costs, damage, cooldowns). After editing, run /lightningabilities reload.

How to Install Lightning Abilities on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lightning Abilities". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Lightning Abilities server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Lightning Abilities consumes the most tick time.
