About this Mod
Lil' Wings is a mod for Minecraft 1.18.2 Forge and Fabric. It seeks to add new kinds of butterflies to your world that can help you in many situations!
This mod adds 12 new butterflies, 50+ new items, and a handful of blocks that lighten up your world with new butterfly related content to play with.
Each butterfly has a unique function when captured and let into a glass jar. Glass jars can be placed into the world by simply shift right clicking a glass bottle onto the ground. You can let a butterfly go inside a jar by right clicking them with a net and then right clicking a glass jar with the filled net. They will help you by performing special actions inside jars, which can range from anything to transformation of blocks, picking up items, or healing surrounding players. How to Install Lil' Wings on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lil' Wings". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Lil' Wings server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Lil' Wings compatible with fabric and forge?
Lil' Wings officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.18.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Lil' Wings – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Lil' Wings consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
