About this Mod

A speedrun/challenge mod for players. You have one life shared between however many players. Inspired By Martincitopants and SMii7Y.

Mod is required on both server and client for the best experience.

When you person dies, everyone gets switched to spectator (can be changed in config) and teleported to where the person died (can be changed in config) so you can all laugh, or yell, at them.

Has been tested primarily between two players so let me know if there are any bugs or features you might want added.

How to Install Linked Deaths on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Linked Deaths". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Linked Deaths server crashes on startup – what to do?
