Loading Tips is a simple mod... Replace your boring loading screen with helpful tips!

This mod is interactive! While your world is loading, you can:
Forward/Back: 🖱️
Scroll Up/Downto go to the next tip or to go back to the previous one in order.Random Tip: 🖱️
Left-Clickthe text to jump to a completely random tip from the 500+ available.Copy Tip: 🖱️
Middle-Clickthe text to instantly copy the tip to your clipboard.Move the Text: 🖱️
Click and Dragthe tip text to move it anywhere on your screen. The mod will remember your favorite spot!Reset Position: 🖱️

- Where are the tips stored? They are located inside the mod jar at
assets/custom_loading_tips/text/loading_tips.json. - Does it affect loading speed? Not at all! The mod is extremely lightweight and only runs during the loading screen.
- Can I add my own tips? Yes! you can add your own tips to the
loading_tips.jsonfile.
💻 Development
🤖 The technical coding, Fabric integration, and internal logic were developed with the assistance of Gemini (Google AI) and Claude (Anthropic AI), built using IntelliJ IDEA. The entire project was completed in less than a day.

🧩 FancyMenu isn't required, but it's great! Use it to pause the loading screen so you can take your time reading tips or choosing the perfect location for the text.

How to Install Loading Tips on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Loading Tips". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Loading Tips server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Loading Tips compatible with fabric?
Loading Tips officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Loading Tips – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Loading Tips consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
